Behnaz Kalapesi

Behnaz is a Landscape Architect in the Sydney office and has a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney. She has a diverse mix of experience having worked on public domain projects, strategic masterplans, infrastructure projects and residential projects. She is passionate about fostering deeper connections between people and nature, and providing environmental solutions to mitigate urban heat and encourage and improve biodiversity in highly urbanised environments . Behnaz has strong written and verbal communication and is highly skilled in GIS spatial mapping and 2D/3D CAD modelling.

Prior to her recent studies, Behnaz spent two decades working as an Information Technology professional in Australia, the UK, US and Asia. She has led multi-disciplinary teams and technology transformation programs for medium and large scale organisations and has extensive project and program delivery experience. This corporate experience offers a range of cross-disciplinary skills for Behnaz to leverage during landscape design and construction activities.
